A native of Pittsburgh, Zallo grew up in Bethel Park and started his career at Tambellini's. He moved to New Orleans and was Executive Sous Chef at the renowned Bacco Restaurant. He moved back to Pittsburgh and was Executive Chef and partner at Lucca. He then went on to open Abrio in McMurray. It's only fitting that he join the ranks of a restaurant dedicated to showcasing Regional Inspired Cuisine and community tradition.
